Introduction to Power Yoga - Zanti Power Yoga (Z1)
New to yoga? Introduction to Power Yoga is where to start! Z1 classes are practiced in a warm environment with emphasis on Yoga fundamentals. In this class yogis will learn new breathing techniques, how to quiet the mind and condition the body with movement, through a comfortably paced flow. We recommend that new students take at least 5-10 Z1 classes before taking a Z2.
Intermediate Power Yoga – Zanti Power Yoga (Z2)
This class includes an intelligent sequence of more challenging postures which link breath and movement. Taught in a heated, climate controlled environment, the class both exhilarates and calms the body, mind and spirit.
Zanti Power Yoga Sculpt
This unique class combines yoga postures with weights designed to sculpt or tone every major muscle group. Aggressive in its pace the class burns calories, builds strength, stamina and flexibility. ZPY Sculpt is an upbeat, challenging class where we’re motivated through powerful music to dynamically move our way to a leaner, stronger, more powerful version of ourselves!
Flow and Yin
A breath-centered fluid 60-minute warm vinyasa flow class, designed to integrate body and mind. Attention is given to alignment; modifications for every body, injury history, and ability level; moving with strength and grace; improving balance and flexibility; calming the mind; and most importantly, deepening the breath. Floor stretches and hip openers are plentiful and deep, often held in the Yin style—relaxed and for minutes at a time to target the connective tissue and detox the body’s energy pathways.
Flow & Inversions
A breath-centered fluid 90-minute vinyasa flow class, designed to heat, energize and open the body. Attention is given to alignment; modifications for every body, injury history, and ability level; moving with strength and grace; improving balance and flexibility; calming the mind; and most importantly, deepening the breath. Twists, shoulder stretches, and backbends are emphasized to wring the body of toxins and improve spinal health, leading into inversions or poses to strengthen and prepare students for inversions.
An alignment based 75 minute, non-heated, flow class designed to skillfully build strength and flexibility with modifications for all levels. Zanti Flow integrates the principles of alignment into a slower paced vinyasa flow practice. This balanced approach to yoga uses the focus of structural alignment, connection of the breath and body while holding postures for 3-5 breath cycles. All levels welcome!
Z-3 is a 75 minute advanced flow class with special focus on inversions.
Chaturanga for Charity
Each Sunday Zanti Power Yoga offers a donation based all levels class. All proceeds are donated to local organizations. This class is taught in a warm environment with modification and add-on challenges for all levels!
